The Synthetic Dream Foundation's newest album "Mechanical Serpent" is currently finished and being manufactured as you read this. The album is a stylistic continuation of the sound created during the last two albums, with a deft fusion of industrial, IDM, electronica, and orchestral music. The album features guest vocals by Marcela Bovio (Stream of Passion and The Gathering), Summer Bowman (the machine in the garden), Susan Siren, and Tamara Kent. The album is being released by Mythical Records, and will be shipping on Feb. 18th 2010. The album is currently in pre-order from both TSDF's and Mythical Record's websites for the price of $10. shot in the dark...
lost at Get Freaky/ After Burn... long silver chain clip with 4 sections of very special black and purple and blue feathers... had it clipped to my earring and it flew away. the special feathers were the gift of a dear friend, I had just made the piece and wore it for the first time that night, and within an hour it was gone...
anyone seen it? picked it up? I'd LOVE to have it back.... praying it wasnt swept up off the floor and into the garbage, that someone saw it and picked it up.

Lost at NYE Revolution

Hi... on the random off chance that someone has found it...
I lost something important at NYE/Revolution. Its a necklace with a beautiful, long rough cut piece of blue kyanite crystal, hanging at the bottom on goldwire wrap. The beads of the necklace are alternating light blue and a darker blue smooth round gemstones... one is labradorite, I believe, and I'm not sure what the other is. I've worn that necklace everyday for over a year, its very special to me, a powerful healing clearing and balancing piece, and I cant believe its gone... I dont remember taking it off, there is no clasp, so I cant believe it broke. But anyways that afternoon it wasn't there with the other necklace... I always take off and put on the two necklaces together, so I couldnt understand why the kyanite one wasn't there with my other necklace. I can only guess that I lost it either at the 1015, or at Sera Phi/ Cyphertown breakfast in the morning. I know I had it most of the night, because its kinda heavy and obvious, and its a mystery to me how why where and when it vanished. Please let me know if anyone has found it, and if there is a way to post/reach out to the larger network of folks who were there, could you please help me spread the word? I'd really really really love to have it back.

Ola church goers, as you know we here at beat church have always been about showcasing up and coming artists to bring you the freshest sounds and give the much needed exposure to our people who deserve it. This Thursday is no exception as we bring to you Cumulus. A native of Santa Barbara, CA, Sam Fairweather aka Cumulus has been playing electronic music since 2002. He spent 3 years as a fundamental organizer of a series of Word of Mouth full moon parties in the mountains of SB. His favorite time to play is sunrise. His favorite bpm lies somewhere between 70 and 185 bpm, but almost always deep, psychedelic, layered, and heavy. He has been working on a selection of deep and moody beats of his own and is ready to deliver some cloudy and funky tunes for the church. By now you have come to know and trust us when we tell you "you gotta check this shit out"
So come check it as Cumulus throws down his audio offerings for the
church in a style that only the setting of beat church brings out. Kitty-D and myself will be throwing down our super eclectic audio alchemical offerings as usual. So come out to what will once again be an incredible evening of great music, great people, great vibes, and super dance floor fun! Parade starts off @ 11:00am on Shattuck & California, then proceeds down Shattuck and turns right on Addison, then ends up @ Civic Center Park Park through the afternoon where will proceed to rock the park with the sound system. We will be taking up the rear of the procession on CB's mini train with sound system bangin' and everyone else can march along side then play in the park with us. Black Rock City, NV – ‘Inevitability’ is usually a term incompetent economists wield indiscriminately and talented economists avoid at all costs. There is nothing inevitable about the moneyed economy—the single exception of course being the unequal distribution of wealth. However, the well-respected Life-Quality Economics Institute at False Profit, LLC, has just made an announcement that could change all that.

“Our Aural Economy division is reporting that, against all odds and predispositions, False Profit, LLC will once again be throwing a party on the Playa,” explained Jay Oberhelman, Director of the L-QE Institute. “We had to find a model for this kind of behavior.”

They are calling it ‘Tuesday Night Syndrome’, though it is now assumed that there are other inevitabilities in the field of life-quality economics. It has even been suggested that Priceless, False Profit’s annual campout may fit this model of inevitability.

“We believe it is a Pavlovian response to high-quality basslines,” remarked Lazlo Jamf, Chief Psychoanalyst at the Institute. “It has been verified that False Profit was recently exposed to very good beats, which may have triggered this conditioned reaction of throwing a Tuesday Night Party.”

Spokesperson for the company, Nevada Valentine, advised all participants in the life-quality economy to show up around 10pm at False Profit’s camp at 4:30 and Esplanade on Tuesday Night.

Street Ritual Recordings. The self titled album is a 17 track LP by
KnowSleep, a collaboration of Knowa KnowOne and Sleepyhead featuring
the sacred spoken words of Goddess Alchemy Project's Taylor Maiden
Space and the ever-conscious flow of Seasunz, from the group Wisdom,

The follow-up to Hello Mom! is Happy Birthday! which sees Thom Yorke and Maxïmo Park feature on the album. Thom Yorke features on the penultimate track "The White Flash" and Maxïmo Park on a bonus track titled "I Can't Sleep (Without Music)". Epcot who has collaborated with the likes of Tipper, Si Begg, S.O.T.E.G. (Bill Bless), and the Seedling Escape, will also be freestylin' throughout the night as we come together in a mashup collaboration with kitty D, myself (Neptune) and the whole crew.

Siren (a.k.a. Brandon) is an amazing producer who has made many quality tracks and co-produced tracks with bassnectar and blown away minds who happen to come upon his original music. he is content with being a dope unknown producer, though in the spirit of Beat Church being a vessel to expose those who are hard at work behind the curtain, we are stoked to have him drop some of his bombs for our listening pleasure. think dubstep meets slayer with angels caressing the speakers.

Greetings from spiritual technologies...
I am writing to invite you all out out to celebrate my 38th birthday on this Thursday Feb. 28th (my actual birthday) @ shine. My birthday just happened to fall on the Thursdays that my good friend and soul brother Mozaic is doing his new monthly at shine "MIXTAPE" I will be closing out the night around 1:00am and in the style of my interpretation of "mixtape" will be playing and extra eclectic set retrospecting my 24 years as a dj. I say this coming from the humblest of places..."prepare to get schooled".
